Vets for Freedom PAC is excited to announce its support of Tom Rooney for United States Congress in the 16th District of Florida. Tom Rooney proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a JAG Officer, and continues to wear the uniform. Vets for Freedom applauds his commitment to continue his public service in the United States Congress.

As the brave men and women who wear our nation’s uniform continue to serve in harm’s way, it is important that we have elected officials who understand and appreciate the sacrifices they make and why they make them. The current Representative of Florida’s 16th District not only voted on multiple occasions to set a timetable for retreat from Iraq, but after visiting Iraq continued to deny the progress that the new strategy has made possible. Hegseth continues, “Clearly he does not recognize the threats that our country faces in the 21st Century.
