Vets for
Freedom is proud to announce its support of Craig Williams for
United States Congress in the Seventh District of Pennsylvania.
Craig and his entire family symbolize the great spirit of America
based on duty to country. His father and stepfather both served two
tours of combat as Air Force pilots during Vietnam, earning the
Silver Star and Distinguished Flying Cross respectively. Craig's
brother fought as an infantry platoon commander during Operation
Desert Storm. Following in his family's tradition, Craig flew 56
combat missions in an F/A-18D Hornet during the first Gulf War as a
United States Marine, earning the Air Medal seven times. He went on
to serve as a Judge Advocate General (JAG), eventually serving as
Deputy Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Vets for Freedom applauds Craig's strong commitment to continue his
public service in the United States Congress.
"As a fellow veteran, I am truly humbled to speak on behalf of
more than 27,000 members of Vets for Freedom in offering our strong
endorsement of Craig Williams for United States Congress," said
Vets for Freedom Chairman, Pete Hegseth. "Craig has
dedicated most of his life to duty as a United States Marine, and
has continuously demonstrated an unselfish willingness to serve his
country - a perspective that exemplifies how he will approach his
job as a Congressman."
Hegseth continued, "As the brave men and women who wear our
nation's uniform continue to serve in harm's way, it is important
that politics end at the water's edge, and that we have elected
officials in Washington who understand and appreciate the
sacrifices they make and why they make them. Craig Williams is a
true American hero and patriot, and I am proud to offer the support
of Vets for Freedom."
