Dear Pete:

We appreciate the great work you and Vets for Freedom do in support of our important mission in Iraq and Afghanistan.  You understand the great fight we are engaged in, the ruthlessness of our enemies, and how important it is we emerge victorious in the War on Terror.

We are strong supporters of your work to ensure victory in Iraq and Afghanistan and greatly admire the members of your organization who have served our nation honorably in uniform.

Due to McCain campaign guidelines, we must request a leave from our positions as Honorary Members of the Policy Board of Advisors for Vets for Freedom.

We deeply value the hard work of Vets for Freedom.  You are a dedicated organization of patriots who have done so much to defend our security and freedom.

Thank you again for all you and Vets for Freedom do in defense of our nation and rest assured that we will continue to push forward in support of Victory in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sincerely,

Lindsey Graham     Joe Lieberman
