STATE BRIEFING

Welcome to the Florida Vets For Freedom Chapter website. Thank you for visiting our website and having an interest in our organization.

For many of us, our combat tours have passed but the political battle must now be waged at home. Florida Vets of Afghanistan and Iraq stand tall, united, and ready to inform Floridians about the facts and realities of service in these two countries where, today, freedom and self-determination flourish. Florida Vets for Freedom stand ready to share our first-hand experiences with the progress being made in Iraq and Afghanistan, the two major fronts in the War On Terror. There is no greater authority than a bonafide Vet to convey the message of liberation and freedom that is so evident on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Florida Vets for Freedom wish for all Floridians who support the mission with the War on Terror to join us and help influence our Federal elected officials on legislation affecting the war. You do not have to be an Iraq or Afghanistan Vet to be on the team. If you can vote, reside in Florida, and support the troops and the mission, we want you on this Florida Vets for Freedom team.

In the weeks and months to come, we will be conducting a variety of events that will seek to honor our local and national heroes, show our support for our brethren still serving in harms way, and bringing their issues to Congress so we can achieve victory.

If you would like to know more about the Florida Chapter of Vets for Freedom, upcoming events, or to notify us with requests for speakers at your local events or to provide assistance in honoring local heroes within your communities, email me at wbennett@vetsforfreedom.org.

Thanks again for your kind consideration and support.
